BLOG - How To Mount Coro

Does the wind knock your props down? Is your Coro bending in the elements? Do you need new ideas to keep your props upright? Below are some tips and tricks to keep your props standing all season long!

Good news! You spoke up and we listened.  We were told that all of our props should have holes for mounting going forward.

The easiest way is to mount some EMT pipe to the back of the Coro. This can be accomplished in one of two ways:

  1. Flip the Coro over, look at where the mounting holes are located and then bend your EMT pipe into place.  Bending the EMT pipe can be easily done with a pipe bender.  Once it is bent into place you can put a zip tie through the holes and around the EMT.  This is normally easy for those smaller props
  2. For the more complex props. You can get some mounts (like SFL-Designs) and then mount these on the Coro with zip ties or nuts and bolts.  From here you can mount your EMT pipe to these props.

After you have your EMT pipe attached you can easily hammer in a small piece of Rebar (call the national Call Before You Dig number of 811 so you don't hit any wires, electrical, or gas lines) and slide the EMT over the rebar. Stressing the calling of 811 as it is free and we don't want injuries!

This has easily held some 4' - 6' props during the Holidays with 30+ MPH winds!

Hope this helps others with a way to put the props in their yard.  If you have another suggestion on how to do this, let us know and we can post your update with this!
